Student Travel Grants
There are two financial assistance opportunities for student to attend MWSCAS 2025:
NSF Student Travel Awards: Available only students affiliated with a US-based institution.
IEEE CASS Student Travel Grants: Available to all students, regardless of whether they are based in US or abroad.
Students may apply for both but will only be awarded one of the above grants. Please find details below about the application procedure for each opportunity.
NSF Student Travel Awards
Thanks to the generous support from the National Science Foundation, we will provide scholarship awards to selected US-based students attending MWSCAS 2025 in person. Only students affiliated with a U.S.-based institution are eligible; there is no restriction on citizenship or visa status. These awards are competitive, and not every applicant will receive funding.
The minimum amount of financial assistance provided to each student will be $600, depending on the availability of funds. Awardees are expected to register for the main conference and make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation. After attending the conference, awardees will submit receipts to the conference organizers for reimbursement.
